How it works

The gap is measured in whole days from midnight to midnight, then expressed in weeks, months, and years. Working days count Monday to Friday only, so weekends are excluded from that figure.

Frequently asked questions

Does it include the end date?

The plain day count is exclusive of the end date. Turn on the inclusive option to count both endpoints, which is how contracts usually phrase it.

Are public holidays excluded?

No. Holidays vary by country, so only weekends are removed from the working-day total.
