    How it works

    Enter how many millimetres to trim from each edge and press Crop PDF. The tool sets a new crop box on every page, which is what readers and printers use as the visible page area — nothing is re-rendered, so quality is untouched.

    Are my files uploaded to a server?

    No. Everything runs inside your browser with JavaScript — your PDF never leaves your device.

    Is the cropped content deleted?

    It is hidden rather than deleted — the crop box defines the visible area, which is how virtually every PDF cropper works.

    Why did I get an error?

    The margins you entered were larger than the page. Try smaller values.

    Does cropping shrink the file?

    Not much, because the underlying content is retained. Use Compress PDF if you need a smaller file.
