How it works

Every word is normalised to lower case, optional stop words are removed, and each remaining term's count is divided by the total to give its density percentage — the top 25 are listed.

Frequently asked questions

What density should I aim for?

There is no magic number; 0.5-2% for a primary keyword reads naturally, and anything above 4% usually looks like stuffing.

Should I remove stop words?

Yes for analysis — words like the and and dominate every text and hide the terms that matter.
