    How it works

Choose where the number should sit, what it should start at, and how it should read. Each page is stamped with real, selectable text in Helvetica, so the numbers stay crisp at any zoom level and when printed.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs inside your browser with JavaScript — your PDF never leaves your device.

Can I skip the cover page?

Set the starting number to 0 so the cover reads 0, or extract the body pages first, number them, then merge the cover back on.

    Are the numbers selectable text?

Yes. They are drawn as embedded Helvetica text, not as an image.

    Will numbers cover existing content?

They sit in the standard margin area. If your document has content there, raise the font size or choose a different corner.
