    How it works
    Add the original PDF first and the revised one second. Both text layers are extracted, split into lines and compared with a longest-common-subsequence diff. Added lines are marked with +, removed lines with -, so you can scan the changes or download the report.

    Frequently asked questions
    Does it detect image or layout changes?
    No — this is a text comparison. Moved images and restyled fonts are not reported unless the words change.
    Which file should go first?
    The older version. The diff describes how to get from file one to file two.
    Can I compare scans?
    Only if they have a text layer. Pure image scans produce nothing to compare.
