    How it works

Add a PDF and the tool reads its structure locally: how many pages it has, the size of the first page in millimetres and points, and any metadata the author left behind such as title, producer, and creation date. You can download the report as a text file.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs inside your browser with JavaScript — your PDF never leaves your device.

    Can I edit the metadata?

This tool reads metadata only. Re-saving a PDF through any of the editing tools here resets the producer field.

Why do some fields show a dash?

Many PDFs simply do not store a title, author, or subject.

    What are points?

PDF measures pages in points, where 72 points equal one inch. A4 is 595 × 842 points.
