    Why does metadata matter?

    PDFs often carry your name, your software and the original file path. Anyone who receives the file can read all of it.

    Does stripping metadata change the pages?

    No. Only the document information dictionary changes; page content is untouched.

    Can I see the metadata before editing?

    Yes — existing values load into the fields as soon as you add the file.
