Redact PDF
Black out sensitive text for good — the words are removed, not just covered.
How it works
Enter redaction boxes as page number plus position in percent of the page, for example 2 @ 10,20,40,6. Each page is rendered to an image, the boxes are painted solid black, and the flattened image becomes the new page — so the underlying text is genuinely gone rather than hidden behind a rectangle.

Why is real redaction different from drawing a box?
A drawn rectangle sits on top of text that is still in the file; anyone can select or extract it. Flattening deletes the text layer entirely.
How do I find the coordinates?
Percentages start at the top-left corner: x, y, width, height. Preview the result and nudge the numbers until the box lands correctly.
Does the file stay searchable?
No — flattened pages are images, so the whole document loses its text layer. That is the trade-off for true redaction.
