    How it works

    The tool parses the broken file, then rebuilds a fresh PDF by copying every page it can read into a brand-new document with a clean cross-reference table. Pages whose content streams are damaged beyond recovery are skipped and reported so you know exactly what survived.

    Frequently asked questions

    What kinds of damage can this fix?

    Broken cross-reference tables, truncated downloads and bad metadata usually recover. Missing page data cannot be invented.

    Will it remove a password?

    It can open owner-restricted files, but a PDF encrypted with a user password to open cannot be repaired without that password.

    Is the layout preserved?

    Yes — recovered pages are copied verbatim, including fonts and images.
